**2 Positions Available - Day or Night Shift

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN **LOCATION: HALEYVILLE, AL PAY: $16- $26 PER HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE

**POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be located at Kith Kitchen's facility in Haleyville, AL. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventative maintenance tasks on industrial machinery and will maintain industrial CND equipment as necessary. They must possess a thorough understanding of the operation and have acquired additional technical training, both classroom and practical, that will further enhance abilities to meet individual and company needs.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • Inspecting non-operational equipment for component wear
  • Replacing non-operational components of equipment that are hindering the equipment from operating efficiently
  • Rebuilding the components to be used in the plant
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems throughout the process
  • Performing daily activities needed to support and comply with production requirements surrounding plant maintenance activities
  • Participating in training, craft skill improvements, and department safety topics

WORK EXPERIENCE AND BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic theory
  • Strong electrical knowledge and adequate skills to understand various plant processes
  • Ability to dismantle and repair auxiliary equipment, such as pumps (pressure and vacuum), compressors, and pipe systems
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics and wire control panels
  • Basic understanding of PLCs and ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Understanding of AC and 3 phase circuits, hydraulics, and pneumatics
