Job Responsibilities

  • The Manufacturing Consultant - APAC Delivery provides expertise, maintenance, support and development of manufacturing services to ensure stable operation, availability and the application interfaces support production processes.

  • Provide application management including developing, installing, configuring, upgrading, administering, monitoring and maintaining the manufacturing applications to keep them in a usable state, ensuring they are correct, consistent and available at all required times.

  • Provide second level support and coordination of external partners, internal third level support to external vendors including the following ITIL services: incident management, problem management, request fulfilment, change management, test management and continuous improvement.

  • Be a key technical resource for projects delivering new or upgraded services

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of delivery experiences, business development in industrial practice and development of MES solutions

  • Understands and conversant in the Manufacturing and Products Industry issues, business process models and relevant digital technologies

  • Experience in complex IT applications management and business processes, with advanced skills in applications management, delivery and support

  • Experience in manufacturing applications and services, such as MES systems(Siemens IT, OP Center, SAP ME or other relevant solutions), MS-SQL, ..etc.

  • Have knowledge of relational databases and web services. An interest in and understanding of manufacturing concepts is desirable

  • Good English Communication skill

  • ITIL Foundation Level certification is required

  • An understanding of Agile methodologies i.e. Scrum, Lean or others is desirable
