The Mary Dobbins Social Worker works closely with other members of the school/clinical and residential staff to develop and provide a quality treatment and education experiences of the students and their families/guardians. The position requires flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills both with internal and external educators, clinicians, families/guardians and other personnel. As a member of the education team, establish and maintain a positive, strength- based, developmentally appropriate educational milieu that is in keeping with the values and clinical treatment philosophy of The Legacy Treatment Services. Responsible for meeting all administrative, legal, and program requirements as mandated by all operating contracts including, but not limited to: DCP&P, DOE, and COA. The School Social Worker will carry a caseload of up to twelve (12) day treatment clients. He/she will oversee and coordinate all aspects of a client’s treatment program along with providing individual, family, and group therapy in accordance with the treatment plan and in concert with the other members of the treatment team.
