The Benefits Coordinator must maintain confidentiality of all subject matter as appropriate. Position responsibilities include assisting in executing Agency Open Enrollment periods, including education, enrollment, assistance and necessary follow-up. Initiates on-going eligible employee enrollment in benefits packages, including obtaining proper supporting documentation. Schedules, coordinates and promotes educational meetings associated with employee benefit package, including presenting at Agency Orientation. Assists in administering leaves, including FMLA. Requires communication with employee to ensure updates are provided. Provides notice to employees for required premiums and schedule of payment during unpaid absence. Responsible for maintaining COVID compliance documentation and reporting. Initiates eligible employee participation in Agency 403(b) Plan, completion and audit of bi-weekly payroll file for changes/maintenance. Audits invoices for accuracy and initiates requisition for payment of benefit invoices. Scans/indexes documentation for various HR files. Complete new hire benefit presentations as scheduled. Provides follow-up on all outstanding documentation. Conducts quarterly audits. Assists in maintaining, educating and applying Agency HR Policies. Conducts payroll database maintenance.

Hours:

Monday Friday, 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m., some evening hours as needed

This is a Full Time Benefited position with the following benefits:

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with at least 3 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Benefits administration experience. Candidate must also possess mathematical aptitude and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
