Eaton’s ADMIN Administrative division is currently seeking a Finance Analyst.

What you’ll do:

Job Summary

Analyze monthly financial transactions and booking information according to EATON Financial Policy requirements. Support Accounting Supervisor in

preparing and monitoring the Finance / Accounting activities (see job responsibilities)

Job Responsibilities

Support Accounting Supervisor in preparing and monitoring the Finance / Accounting activities in the areas of:

  1. Month-end closing process – Financial review variance analysis, FIN balanced scorecard operation.

  2. Responsible for all process related to Leases and work whith the team responsible of the Accelerator Systems; in order to guarantee the correct

accounting process Leases.

  1. Lead the quarterly review of the CSC (Control Self Checklist) and implement/ sustain internal controls and evaluation of plant systems for compliance

with division and corporate guidelines, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

  1. Manage the AP holds process and guarantee the control of this.

  2. Month-end CapSpend process - report preparation, operational / financial review and variance analysis.

  3. Review and Follow up Intercompany Journal Entries and ARCS (software update) reconciliations

  4. Profit Plan process for local ledgers related to: report preparation, operational / financial review, and variance analysis.

  5. External and Internal Audit process (Eaton compliance and E&Young)

  6. Departmental budget reporting and analysis for CPD ICD & CRDS business

  7. Fixed Asset control and maintenance through CAR preparation / review support, inventory management, disposal.

  8. Prepare Balance Sheet reviews for accuracy, aging and documentation support

  9. Prepare and provide financial and taxes reports to local authorities (such as DGII)

  10. Participate at ICD plant in meetings as primary contact (such as POR, review meetings, etc)

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.

Years and area of experience required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in similar position.

Technical knowledge

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • International Financial reporting standards (IFRS) knowledge.

  • PC knowledge: Microsoft Office, AS400. Prefer: Oracle, Mapics and

  • Encore

  • Audit techniques and general Accountant Principles.
