Intel Software Security Researcher in Haifa, Israel

Job Description

The PSTE Security Evaluation team is responsible for the security evaluation of Intel's confidential computing technologies such as TDX and SGX, ensuring that those technologies meet their security objectives, and released with fewer and less severe vulnerabilities.

The security researchers in the team are responsible for the Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) of those technologies, ensuring that security is considered throughout the product's lifecycle, by performing security reviews of the architecture, secure-code reviews, pen-testing, and collaborating with external researches to assess externally reported vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for a teammate with:

  • Curiosity, passion, and initiative.

  • Attacker state-of-mind.

  • Ability to learn and integrate new information quickly.

  • Familiarity with low-level security attacks and mitigations.

  • Out-of-the-box, abstract thinking

  • Creative problem solving.

It would be great if you would also have:

  • Knowledge of Intel Architecture, specifically Intel Virtual Machine Extensions (VMX).

  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and exploit development.

  • Experience with operating systems and compiler internals.

  • Knowledge of cryptographic principles.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
