Sierra Nevada Corporation Technical Trainer III in Hagerstown, Maryland

Do you have the skills, expertise, and passion that it takes to be a top-notch Technical Trainer? Join our team and take your career to new heights! As a Technical Trainer II, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing technical content and training materials for both internal and external customers at SNC. You will deliver on-site/remote client support by providing expert training program and advising on technical training materials. You will collaborate and work as a partner along product management, engineers, and program managers. You will also be expected to provide feedback to the leaders on effectiveness of technical training programs.

The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. Responsibilities:

  • Coordination, scheduling, conducting, and documenting completion of training events

  • Collaborating to create and update curriculum, and Training Department tool sets

  • Maintaining proficiency

  • Collaborating to monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study and 6 years of work experience

  • Relevant experience beyond 6+ years may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Experience with supporting/addressing customer training objectives

  • Experience in aviation maintenance or aviation maintenance training

  • Aircraft Ground Operations Experience

  • Must possess strong verbal and technical written communication skills

  • Proficient in basic computer operation and Microsoft Office suite

Preferred:

  • Strong background in aircraft technical training, programs, communications, or other operations function

  • Certification such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIT

  • Certification in Aerial Work Platforms

  • Experience with Workday Learning or similar training systems
