Mechanical Engineer

Job Description: As an Experienced Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in researching, designing, developing, testing, certifying, and deploying cutting-edge products and services. These encompass a wide spectrum, ranging from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to highly integrated aircraft and orbital exploration systems. Your responsibilities will include conceptualizing and delivering complex mechanical systems and structures, as well as designing and developing innovative products and processes throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 and CATIA V6

  • Skilled in mechanical design for modifications and new development for aircrafts

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices

  • Proficiency in Computer Aided Engineering tools, particularly CATIA V5/V6 (consideration will be given to other versions of CATIA, but no earlier than V4)If no CATIA experience, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in other programs such as Solidworks, CREO, or NX.

  • Collaboration experience in multi-disciplinary design and development teams

  • While experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry is preferred, a strong CATIA skillset is essential.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Aerospace and Defense

  • Experience with commercial derivative aircraft

  • Proficiency in applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5

  • Familiarity with Engineering Simulation (FEA, CFD, and Thermal Analysis)

  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles, including parametric design, model-based definition, material selection, and production processes
