Our manufacturing client in Hagerstown IN is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing, cost accounting and general accounting experience, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Hagerstown IN (fully onsite/Relocation assistance possible)
Pay Range: $70k-$100k, plus benefits and potential for bonus
Full Time - Permanent
What’s the Job?
As part of the Company Finance team, you will be responsible for key accounting functions and ensuring the department executes their core responsibilities and strategic objectives: Bill of Materials, standard cost, reconciliations, ROI, change management process, sales/used tax, production variances.
You will focus on our 4 core responsibilities: accounting / reporting, costing, analytics, and process improvement / automation.
Analysis and interpretation of financial data, product costing, market, industry, and business trends requiring management’s attention.
Perform general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, fixed assets, maintaining of reserves as well as establishing and maintaining internal controls and policies.
Proactively interact with various departments throughout the organization to provide information necessary to assist in their decision-making processes, improve profitability and maintain proper accounting procedures.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
3+ years of accounting experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Cost accounting experience
Knowledge of ERP systems
