About the Role:

As a CBRE CAD Sr. Designer, you will design and prepare complex electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for large-scale projects.

This job is part of the Design function. They are responsible for preparing and producing proposals and planning applications for internal and external partners.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare prints of various original plans and records agency use. Review updated various drawings for changes, using computer-aided drafting techniques.

  • Gather data to complete unique drawings by visiting the site directly. Conduct surveys of space and prepare detailed reports.

  • Verify that the development of maps and drawings that are spatially accurate and technically correct.

  • Subject matter expert to acquire details of projects, including equipment, materials, and codes.

  • Review on-site information entered into the database to ensure current building conditions and data are accurate.

  • Have a broad knowledge of own job subject area and some knowledge of several job fields within the function.

  • Motivate and inspire team members, fostering a sense of collaboration and accountability.

  • Identify and leverage team members' strengths and suggest scope for improvement.

  • Provide direction, support, and motivation to team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of shown experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Ability to analyze solutions using experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mentality.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. CAD Designer is $65,000 annually [or $31.25 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Sr. CAD Designer is $85,000 annually [or $40.86 per hour]. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
