Eaton Corporation Lead Engineer- DevOps in Hadapsar, India
What you’ll do:
Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the DevOps team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the DevOps team and across the organization.
Infrastructure Management :
Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to support the company's services and applications.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable deployments.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure visibility into the CI/CD pipeline and application performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with proven experience in a leadership capacity.
Skills:

Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
