Eaton Corporation Engineer (CDE-Aerospace) in Hadapsar, India

What you’ll do:

The primary responsibility of this role is to execute System/Sub-system/Component analyses of various prodyucts under static and dynamic loading conditions withing the Aerospace/Filtration business. Individual is expected to partner with local and global teams to understand the design intent and validate simulaiton models ensuring adherence to the safety standards and engineering principles.

Candidate is expected to have strong technical knowlege of structural as well as vibration fundamentals and their applications. Prior experience in static and dynamic analysis is preferred. This position demands performing project engineering work independently, communicate with stakeholders and coordinating tasks within the scope of project. The incumbent must have a proven track record of multitasking and working with short delivery cycles. Consistent with the Eaton philosophy, the individual will be responsible for tracking quality measurements relating to developing digital prototyping methodologies, validating with test data & deployment of the methodologies in product design. Knowledge in Design for Six Sigma tool usage (DFSS), automation using python or similar languages is preferred."

  1. Coordinate with stakeholders to understand and finalize analysis requirements for wide range of aerospace products.

  2. Interpret, summarize and communicate structural or vibration analysis results to global audience and provide technical and/or design recommendations.

  3. Contribute to mature the analysis capabilities in Structures domain.

  4. Develop test plan wherever necessary to verify simulation models and validate analysis approach in correlation with test outcomes.

  5. Ensure on time delivery and quality performance results in all the work deliveries.

6.Provide novel solutions/concepts (complementing with Innovation Disclosures & Patents, Technical papers) to strengthen and drive innovation.

7.Strong analytical skills, strong verbal & written communication skills and proven team player.
