In the Artificial Intelligence Development Center of Continental, Autonomous Mobility, we create next generation automotive software solutions which make automated driving safe and affordable. We work towards Vision Zero, a goal to eliminate fatal accidents happening every day on the world’s roads. We are looking for creative minds who are passionate to shape the future of automated driving by delivering world-class perception and fusion systems.

Our teams develop software solutions for automated parking and safety systems, processing various automotive sensor data and providing a robust, scalable output to driving function modules.

Your Tasks

As a member of the component teams in the automated parking development value chain, you will be working on SW build, test, release and integration tooling. Working closely with the algorithm & tool developers and the vehicle integration team, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop the CICD pipeline of the embedded software components

  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

  • Performing root cause analysis and designing processes for system performance improvement and CI/CD activities

  • Reviewing and analyzing solutions and supporting testing processes

  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows the established processes

  • Collaborating and working in an agile team environment

  • Developing SW for integration, automation and visualization

  • University degree (BSc, MSc, PhD) in a technical area: Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related

  • Experience with CICD tooling (e.g., Jenkins), automated code generation

  • Experience in DevOps Engineering or similar SW engineering roles

  • Experience working according to SAFe (scaled agile framework)

  • SW engineering and development skills in Python, C++ and CMAKE

  • Good command of the English language

  • Collaborative, open-minded, team player attitude

Nice to have

  • Experience developing testing applications for a large corporation

  • Technical leadership experience of complex topics and teams

  • Vehicle measurement system build-up experience

  • Experience in automotive middleware (eCAL, ROS, MQTT)

  • Experience in V&V activities in the automotive domain
