Industrial Technology Teacher

To develop in each student insight and understanding of vocational subjects and its place in our society; to discover and develop talents in the technical fields; and to develop practical problem-solving skills.

  • Instruct students in an array of vocational subjects such as: wood- and metal-working, robotics, computer technology, coding, graphic design, STEM, and/or computer-aided design (CAD).

  • Provide students with appropriate, hands-on, learning activities and meaningful instruction for Industrial Arts Technology and/or STEM.

  • Uses technology to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration.

  • Inspire curiosity and problem-based learning for all students.

  • Knowledge with CTE Standards and programs.

  • Provide applicable instruction to students that support district curriculum and best practice using the 21st Century Skills.

  • Other duties as assigned by Administration.

Qualifications:

Valid Teaching License or ability to obtain a valid teaching license.

Terms: As per teacher contract

Evaluation: Performance will be evaluation as per school board policy and administrative evaluation of personnel.**
