As a System Requirement Engineer (f/m/d) for Battery Energy Storage Systems (incl. battery, battery management system, power conversion system (PCS), and controls), every day is not the same in your multicultural team. The solution development team is looking for a world class System Requirement Engineer. You will be closely integrated with the coordination, execution and analysis of BESS system and derive the battery system requirements for our products.

Are you willing to take on the challenge of developing new battery storage applications?

Your new role – challenging and future- oriented:

  • Moderation, support and organize cross functional teams for requirements definition, analysis, review and release.

  • Battery System Requirements derivation based on different international standards and customer requirements.

  • Identify and define systems components requirements.

  • Support FMEA and Safety risk assessment

  • Define and review specific systems and component test cases in collaboration with our test department.

  • Study the properties of different types of battery systems.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering or a similar field

  • Experience in battery system development for storage application battery systems, modules and subcomponents or power conversion systems (PCS)

  • Profound experience in NFPA and diverse UL and IEC relevant standards such as NFPA 855, UL 9540, IEC61508, IEC62619 etc.

  • Stationary applications component/system and testing experiences are a must.

  • Experience in using requirements engineering tools such as Reqsuite, Doors, PTC Integrity etc.

  • Good communication and presentation skills and a self-organized way of working in an intercultural environment.

  • Experience with instrumentation, measurement, calibration, and laboratory testing

  • Fluent in English (mandatory); German skills are a plus.
