What You will do:

  • Timely and quality deliveries of assigned project deliverables.

  • Interact with the stakeholders in product engineering team and understand the requirements.

  • Responsible for design changes, preparing change orders, concept design, verification, and validation activities, writing testing protocol and test reports where applicable.

  • Technical discussion with stakeholders considering various inputs.

  • Execution of NC CAPA implement design controls & risk controls.

  • Preparing/updating technical documentation viz. specifications, drawings, engineering analysis, labelling etc.

  • Establish priorities, imparting a sense of urgency and importance to the team while using project management tools and techniques to support the delivery of projects per cost and time commitment.

Skill and expertise (Need):

  • 4- 7 years of relevant work experience in product engineering and development of mechanical components.

  • Experience in executing NPD projects involving complete product development life cycle phases from concept to launch.

  • Strong coordination skills to drive collaboration internally and external vendor partners/suppliers.

  • Knowledge of material selection, ASME drafting standards, GD&T, DFSS, New Product Development Process and Product engineering.

  • Knowledge in Medical device Design Controls, Risk management process is preferred.

  • Experience in working with regulated industries like Medical devices, Aerospace, Automotive etc. Understanding of medical device standards and regulations is preferred.

  • Experience in fabrication processes (machining, metal forming, welding, lasers, powder coating) and electro-mechanical products/assemblies is required.

  • Knowledge of overall manufacturing process, engineering change process, Design Verification and Validation, Design and Risk Management documents.

  • Growth mindset - ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment.

  • Experience on engineering change management process.

  • Understanding of NC CAPA Process, design control & risk management.

  • Good understanding on designing of jigs & fixtures, inspection methods.

Qualification:

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Proficient in CAD engineering software- Creo/UGNX
