The team you will be a part of

The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.

This role in summary

Responsible for market research, study raw material, labour rate trends across US, EU, ASIA. Recommend strategy to achieve cost leadership in various products of WP

Your responsibilities will include

  • Responsible to support cost modeling critical inputs of Raw material, Forex, Labour rates etc at various supplier locations across NAR, LAR, ASIA etc

  • Basic knowledge of MIS and communications

  • Basic exposure to industry working in consulting / manufacturing sector

Minimum requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

B.Tech (Any)

EXPERIENCE/PREFERRED INDUSTRY

3-8 yrs experience of handling research and MIS part while working in consulting/manufacturing sector

  • Know-how of various indexes e.g. LME, SME

  • Good analytical skills

  • Engineering know how to identify various grades of raw materials

  • Internet savvy to conduct research of other countries
