Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

Job overview and responsibilities

The Analyst - Inventory Performance is responsible for the strategic productivity and tactical execution of United Airlines’ aircraft spare parts inventory. The Analyst will accomplish tactical inventory execution through active project management and inventory planning. A continuous focus on improving operational reliability by finding trends in data and developing ways to leverage that information to reduce disruptions to the operation.

  • Improves operational reliability by minimizing aircraft out of service events, delays, and cancellations related to the unavailability of spare aircraft parts

  • Development of tactical and strategic plans for Rotable, Recoverable, Repairable and Expendable in support of new station set ups

  • Utilizes analytical dashboards, automated tools, and the airline’s transaction-based computer ERP system (SCEPTRE)

  • Performs ad-hoc data mining and analysis as required

  • Drive continuous improvement through the systematic use of tools and techniques

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or comparable experience

  • 2+ years of related experience

  • Advanced Excel, Good communication skills, ability of work on multiple priorities under strict deadlines

  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Master's degree
