Nestle Senior Manager - Procurement in Gurgaon, India

Main Purpose of the Job - Developing, validating, communicating and implementing a Sourcing Strategy for Coffee that delivers a competitive advantage to the business. Opportunity to develop credible long term relationships with suppliers as well as internal & external stakeholders. Offers critical Exposure to lead projects and manage issues / crisis situations. Ideal candidate comes with significant expertise in Coffee sourcing.

Key Job Responsibilities -

  1. Sourcing Strategy implementation and communication plan, Supplier management plan. To ensure implementation of sound procurement processes and strategies to achieve the set objectives

  2. Appropriate suppliers for the spend category selected

  3. Lowest Total Cost of Ownership

  4. Ensure that all the key suppliers within the spend category are aligned to Nestlé' Suppliers Code and compliant with Nestle Responsible Sourcing Requirements

  5. Integrate Innovation elements from suppliers into Nestlé' Innovation and Renovation processes.

  6. Network with the industry / other Nestle markets / zone management to gain an insight into the various spend categories which would help in formulating a sound purchasing strategies

  7. Accountable for driving projects that cuts across various categories of material and pertains to the overall function

  8. Ensure the agreed service level with internal stakeholders & Closely liase with business to ensure business priorities and the department activities and priorities are closely aligned to each other

  9. Participate and engage in the Monthly / Weekly operational reviews.

Key Experiences -

  1. Over a sustained period (2-3 years) has demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the spend category in charge.

  2. Ability to create and sustain credible long term relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders

  3. Has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead projects and manage issues

  4. Has demonstrated successful use of TCO analysis, risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management.

  5. Min 6 years of Procurement and/or SCM experience
