    The Role:

    As our Managing Director of Incident Response & Global Managed Detection & Response (MDR), you will play a pivotal role in spearheading our global technical operations and technical delivery, driving innovation within the threat detection domain, and providing senior leadership for our India-based practice team members.

    Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of talented IR and MDR professionals, fostering a culture of technical expertise, collaboration, and client service excellence.

  • Lead the global MDR shared services center that is responsible for providing 24x7x365 SOC/MDR services to clients located in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

  • Work closely with the US, EMEA, and APAC IR leads to deliver exceptional service to our clients in a “follow the sun” delivery model.

  • Oversee network and endpoint monitoring, threat analysis, and incident response, ensuring swift and effective resolution of cyber incidents.

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge security strategies and solutions, leveraging advanced SIEM tools, NGAV, EDR, XDR, and firewall technologies.

  • Provide expert-level technical guidance to clients, tailoring solutions to their unique needs and advising on optimal response activities.

  • Collaborate closely with client security teams, legal counsel, and Ankura leadership to ensure seamless response and communication.

  • Drive continuous improvement within the IR and MDR practice, implementing innovative technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of the evolving threat landscape.

  • Represent Ankura at industry events and conferences, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership.

    Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with extensive hands-on expertise in incident response and/or MDR operations.

  • Proven track record of success in leading and motivating teams, fostering collaboration, and achieving results.

  • Deep technical expertise in endpoint security, network traffic analysis, SIEM, and SOC operations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to connect effectively with clients and colleagues across all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.

  • A proactive mindset and a passion for staying ahead of evolving cyber threats.
