This position performs complex research, design, and software development assignments within a software functional area or product line, and provides direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.

  • Writing and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components.

  • Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.

  • Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.

  • Mentoring less-senior software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques.

Requirements

  • Have to transform natural language data into useful features using NLP techniques to feed classification algorithms.

  • possess outstanding skills in statistical analysis, machine learning methods and text representation techniques.

  • Have understanding of NLP techniques for text representation, Information Extraction, semantic extraction techniques, data structures and modeling.

  • Have understanding of text representation techniques (such as n-grams, bag of words, sentiment analysis, word embedding etc), and knowledge of deep learning algorithm such as LSTM/GRU/CNN

  • Experience in using LLM’s like openAI, claude, etc and machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)

  • Able to write robust and testable code and good communication skills
