We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Senior Facilities Management Operations to join our team:
Location: Gurabo, Puerto Rico (avalability to attend other sites).
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (avalability to resolve emergies with the team outside this central schedule).
Work model: On site.
Contract Type: Indefinite-term.This role is responsible for leading and managing the operations of assigned facilities. This includes providing managerial direction to a team, overseeing primary contractors and vendors, ensuring the maintenance of facilities, and meeting client expectations as per contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Additionally, this role is responsible for developing operational and capital budgets for assigned properties.Key Responsibilities:
Building client relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and addressing any facilities-related concerns.
Financial management: Take charge of the site's financial operations, including budgeting and coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality work practices at the right cost.
Teamwork promotion: Support the growth and development of team members through effective training and coaching sessions. Foster a culture that upholds core behaviors, teamwork, cooperation, and performance excellence. Motivate the team and promote trust and work ethics among members.
Oversee and manage the operations of assigned facilities, ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities.
Provide managerial direction to a team, including training, coaching, and fostering a culture of teamwork and performance excellence.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing any facilities-related concerns and meeting client expectations as per contract KPIs.
Take charge of financial management for the site, including budgeting and coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality work practices at the right cost.
Develop operational and capital budgets for assigned properties, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, vendor management, and management of property technical systems.
Stay updated on local regulations requirements for site facilities management and maintain a detailed understanding of GxP utilities and quality system requirements.Qualifications disired:
Competency and goal-driven: More than fifteen years of experience managing manufacturing facilities, GxP Compliance, and regulated areas or related fields. Experience in managing commercial contracts and budgets. Proficiency in health and safety requirements, vendor management, and property technical systems management.
Organized and analytical: Self-motivated and quick-thinking facilities manager with a problem-solving approach that uses quantitative methods and holistic approaches. Ability to plan tasks in advance and meet deadlines consistently.
Engaging and professional: Passionate about excellence and exceeding client expectations. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with different stakeholders and professionally manage the team. Ability to inspire and motivate team members and create a positive work environment.Required:
10+ years of experience in engineering operations and facilities/process equipment maintenance.
8+ years of facilities/equipment maintenance in the GxP environment.
Engineering/maintenance experience in GxP environment/facility.
Knowledge of local regulations requirements for site facilities management.
Detailed understanding of GxP utilities such as CU, HVAC, EMS, and other GxP utilities.
Familiarity with GxP quality system requirements, including deviation, change control, CAPA, risk management, and documentation management.
Proficiency in GxP/non-GxP facilities/equipment maintenance/calibration requirements (PM, PdM, CM, EM).
Knowledge of Life Science/Pharma/Biopharma processes.
