Position : Regional Financial Aid Director New Students

Lincoln Tech is seeking a Regional Financial Aid Director of New Students to oversee the prospective student packaging operation of the Financial Aid Departments of multiple campuses within an assigned region. Plan, direct, implement, and monitor the timely processing of Financial Aid in accordance with federal and/or state regulations and Company policy.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years' experience in Title IV Administration

  • Or, 10 or more years' experience in Title IV Administration and management

Regional Management

  • Serve as a liaison between the VP of FA Operations and the Campus Presidents within the region to ensure each campus' needs are meet for incoming student packaging.

  • Develop and deploy strategies to assist in the completion of packaging as well as working closely with all departments and Campus Presidents within the region to ensure all start requirements are in place when students begin school.

  • Responsible for management for the accurate completion of verification and documentation of independent status.

  • Assist with coordinating all schools within the region's response to any internal/external audit related to the management of Title IV program.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Lincoln's mission to provide outstanding customer service throughout the student experience.

  • Ensure that the management of the daily operations of the Financial Aid Department and implement new policies to ensure the accurate, timely, and ethical awarding and processing of Title IV program funds according to federal and/or state regulations and Company policies and procedures.

Tracking & Reporting

  • Assist with tracking the allocation of campus-based financial aid funds within the region.

  • Perform routine audits on active and inactive student files to ensure compliance with Title IV regulations.

  • Monitoring the weekly packaging status reports to ensure new enrollments' financial aid packaging is timely and accurate.

FA Processes

  • Ensure all incoming student aid packages are complete and accurate.

  • Ensure all incoming student files are complete and all needed documents are collected in a timely manner.

  • Oversee the processing of new and student loan and grant applications. Monitor and track the region's Institutional Loan Program.

  • Oversee and monitor maintenance of the document tracking systems within the office (Pell Grants, Federal loans, income tax returns, etc.) as required.

Training & Development

  • Manage, train, and develop all campus based and remote new student managers within the region.

  • Manage and supervise Financial Aid Managers and staff within the region.

  • Answer FA manager and advisor questions concerning the student aid package promptly, professionally, and accurately.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
