Job Purpose and Impact
The Transportation and Logistics Operations Assistant will support the distribution department in the warehouse to optimize resource use, minimize costs and maintain quality standards. In this role, you will contribute to the distribution department by assisting with outbound and inbound deliveries, data management, reporting and analysis, client interaction, and people resources.
Key Accountabilities
Setup outbound shipments and book receiving.
Communicate with multiple departments daily to ensure accurate outbound loads.
Perform administrative or clerical duties in support of the shipment execution process, completing tasks using industry standard procedures.
Plan, manage and review production operations to achieve output and quality objectives.
Organize documentation and enter routine data into one or more systems.
Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
Minimum of two years of related work experience.
Proficient with Microsoft applications.
Must be legally entitled work for Cargill in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience warehouse or distribution.
Previous experience with SAP.
