PharmPix Corp Specialty Pharmacy Programs Manager in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico

POSITION SUMMARYThe Specialty Pharmacy Programs Manager reports to the Director of Pharmacy Network and Contracting and is responsible to manage the Specialty Pharmacy programs; specifically, the PPx Specialty Pharmacy HUB and Mail Order Pharmacy by providing coordinated services and improved communications between plan sponsor, business partners and provider’s network. Lead implementation efforts and overall relationship between PharmPix, plan sponsors and network participants in Puerto Rico and USA.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Manage employees and PharmPix, Specialty HUB, Specialty Network and Mail Order providers in the implementation of member services programs.2. Generate and analyze daily, weekly and monthly reports for the external and internal client as requested, in order to obtain specifics statistics of the PharmPix Specialty Hub.3. Implement Specialty Pharmacy and Mail Order provider’s and services contract SLA and ensure claims monitoring program is executed.4. Analyze reporting and performance matrix for specialty network participants and track against established goals.5. Monitor compliance with sponsor contract conditions and recommend corrective action plans for identified gaps.6. Utilize verbal and written communication to drive/direct team’s performance.7. Coordinate trainings as requested by the external and internal client, regarding any implementation and/or change in the process and/or workflow.8. General Responsibilities Establish constant performance monitoring process to maintain service levels to beneficiaries. Responsible to follow up any case or issue in a minimum time. Assist the director in any meeting as assigned. Implement special projects and other duties assigned by the Operations Director Supports all Quality Management Program initiatives.TRAINING & EDUCATIONBachelor’s degree, Pharmacy Technician Associate, Technical Degree and/or +4years of experience in case management environment at the specialty pharmacy level.LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONPuerto Rico Board of Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE+4 years as pharmacy technician in a specialized pharmacy (preferred), healthcare, direct to patient non-profit, Non-Government Organization (NGO) or related experience.Supervisory role in Patient Advocacy roles (preferred)+2 years of experience in PBM.PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES / SKILLS1. Management or team leadership experience Problem-solving skills used to interact with different executives and diverse stakeholders.2. Advance Excel knowledge.2. Ability to read and interpret documents.3. Strong verbal and written communications skills4. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.6. Customer Service Leadership skills: practicing, valuing, and support service to both internal department and external clients10.
