Description

This role is part of Amazon Global Logistic China export operations team, responsible for leading Operations/Program Managers for cross-border fulfilment. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team as an Sr Operations Manager. In this role, you will be a subject matter expert Ops leader. This includes teaching standard work on Cost, Speed, Quality & DEA, deep diving problems, assisting to create action plans, partnering with multiple support teams to create mechanisms, and working with L6 through L8 Operations to achieve multiple Launch milestones.

You will be responsible to manage a group of Program managers to invent for customer experience and simplify for operation efficiency. You will coach, and develop the team with prioritization, constructive feedback, resources planning, and data driven decisions. You will guide the team towards continuous improvements using data, metrics, and customer feedback. You will be responsible for managing 3PL service provider and develop processes/mechanism to meet performance goals. You will be responsible for guiding 3PL operations process to achieve business goals and to obsess the customer. You will manage complex operational issues by developing, tracking and analyzing key performance indicators. You will provide regular performance metrics report focusing on operational excellence and customer experience.

You will build strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, LSP, and Carriers.

You will serve as primary interface with other teams in Seller Operations, Product, Finance and Tech for new product, program, and system launches.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of team management experience

  • 5+ years of supply chain experience

  • 5+ years experience of managing 3PL operations
