Intel Software Application Development Engineer in Guadalajara, Mexico

Job Description

Commercial Client Software and Services organization is a group in Intel that focuses on delivering industry-leading experiences through integrating hardware, software, and services for the Client commercial ecosystem.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end users or integrated with other applications by ISVs.

  • Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development.

  • Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end-to-end testing of applications.

  • Completes SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

  • May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • 4+ years of Solid experience in Object-oriented programming, C#, and .NET Frameworks.

  • 4+ years of experience developing REST APIs and Web functionalities with multiple programming languages and frameworks: JavaScript, Node JS, React, and SQL databases.

  • 2+ years of experience in Unit testing and Automated integration testing.

  • 2+ years of experience in Unit testing and Automated integration testing.

  • 2+ years of experience in JavaScript/Typescript software development

  • 2+ years of experience in SQL Server / MySQL or other relational database systems.

  • Intermediate to advanced English level.

  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • 1+ Year development experience in C/C++.

  • Experience in .NET Core framework.

  • Familiar with working with Agile Methodologies like Scrum or extreme programming.

  • Experience with NoSQL Databases like MongoDB and Redis.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Take a proactive trouble-shooting approach to identify and solve problems.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
