As a Maintenance Mechanic , you will be responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the facility's machinery, equipment, and systems. Your primary focus will be on minimizing downtime, maximizing equipment efficiency, and contributing to a safe and functional work environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and other machinery. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions promptly. Repair or replace defective parts and components, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks effectively. Utilize various hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repair tasks. Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to address complex issues and ensure seamless operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for all employees. Stay up-to-date with equipment manuals, technical specifications, and industry best practices. Suggest process improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance.
