SYNNEX Corporation Inventory Control Specialist I in Groveport, Ohio

Overview Supports the execution of all processes and procedures related to inventory accuracy for the Logistics Center. Performs warehouse bin accuracy and maintains inventory shrink. Utilizes Warehouse Management System and various types of material handling equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required Investigates inventory discrepancies and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve. Investigates bin location variances and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve. Researches problem orders and receipts for the Logistics Center. Inputs data into warehouse management system, databases and reporting tools. Performs system entries to maintain inventory and bin accuracy to include: cycle counts, pick exceptions, bad box, lost bin, found bin, pick paths and bin maintenance. Collects, maintains and provides detailed statistics and reports on various performance measurements. Performs to quality standards in multiple functions. Meets attendance and punctuality standards. Required Educational: High School/G.E.D. Previous Experience (Years & Type): Minimum of two years experience working with transaction-intensive warehouse management / inventory systems in a high volume facility. Working Conditions: Distribution center environment which includes exposure to work at varying heights; extreme temperatures; moderate and consistent noise levels, hot and dry or wet and/or humid conditions; and outside weather conditions. Ability to position oneself to meet physical demands of position. Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires. Be knowledgeable of all safety practices relating to welding processes. Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. <
