Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions (a Taylor company) is seeking aSoftware QA Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of software quality analysts. The team is working on a growing product area focused on building new tools that help our customers modernize their traditional customer communication processes. The role will be responsible for hiring, performance and quality management, technical coaching, process development and oversight, technical leadership, and capacity management. It will coordinate work assignments in collaboration with Project Managers and Product Owners, engage with development resources, and work with the Operations teams to help support the product. Your Responsibilities: Manage team of up to 10 software quality analysts Manage staff time, work assignments, and skill-building activities Support incident and problem resolution Participate in projects as a consulting resource You Must Have: 5+ years in a direct staff management role 7+ years software quality in the following areas: data integration, web applications, and application security testing concepts Experience using and implementing software quality management Expertise with both traditional waterfall and Agile/Scrum processes Comfortable communicating with management team members and senior management Four year college degree We Would Also Prefer: Experience with projects confidential and regulated data (PHI, PII, PCI, etc.) Experience introducing quality automation tools and processes Microsoft Devops, Atlassian JIRA Experience working with offshore development teams Experience with QA of document production software (billing statements, EOBs, ANOCs, invoices, etc.) and mailing/shipping processes This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA).
