Job Title: Senior QRM Engineer Location: OH - Columbus What you'll do: As the Senior QRM Engineer, you will work as part of a team to design, model, build, and implement QRm and other applications to support treasury and finance function in the bank. You will also work on other applications and platforms under Corporate Systems segment in accordance with the strategic needs of Western Alliance Bank. The ideal candidate is a strong technologist with a practical data engineering mindset, is outcome-focused, and fosters teamwork What we are looking for: Essential Functions: Develop/Enhance functional capabilities using QRM system. Implement and validate financial models within the QRM framework, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure and assist in regulatory compliance by updating models and configurations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QRM with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate risk assessments. Configuration and testing of new product features. Implementing strategic architectural changes. Identify and address technical issues, system bugs, and performance bottlenecks in QRM platforms promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience. Collaborate with business partners and other team members to understand and refine business requirements and operational processes. Work closely with enterprise data, architecture, and other team members to design an appropriate solution Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 8+ years of development/implementation experience with 4+ years in QRM or similar applications Experience with financial modeling and liquidity risk solution implementations Experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data design Experience with design tools as it relates to creating conceptual architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams such as Visio, Lucidchart Experience building applications using modern programming standards. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Azure DevOps/Jira/Git/ServiceNow Knowledge of Cloud based systems and integration with SaaS applications.
