Job Title:Senior Logistics Finance Analyst Summary:In this role, you will oversee the analysis of Logistics costs and support the Business Units with understanding their freight spend. Responsibilities Include: Work with Senior Analysts on monthly financial close activities, all planning, forecasting, and reporting models Help Business Units understand freight cost on the material level through advanced analysis. Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with your business partners - you influence the decisions. You can root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and teach the business how decisions affect costs in their sites and create new mechanisms as they are needed Help the logistics operations team identify and develop key business opportunities and drive efficiency. Expertise in collecting, analyzing, and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful analyses to lead business improvement and cost reductions Partner with Logistics, IT, and Supply Chain teams to drive costs out Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results individually and through their team Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving Strong ability to work with business leaders to deliver results, including the ability to persuade with data. An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes Ability to think at both the strategic and implementation level - to think big while also diving deep Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications: The following are required for the role BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) 4+ years of progressive Finance experience as a Finance Analyst, Cost Analyst, Operations Analyst, or related role Critical thinking and strategic mindset Strong Material Cost Planning & Analysis, Financial analysis, Budgeting, Excellent communication skills Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment across different time zones Fluency in English is mandatory Strong working experience using SAP/Business Warehouse Advanced MS Excel (Filters, Pivots, Dynamic Charts, Formulas, VLOOKUP, Power BI, and MS PowerPoint experience Working knowledge of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act; U.S. accounting rules and regulations including historical cost, revenue recognition, matching, and full disclosure principles PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here arerepresentative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform theessential functions of this job.
