Located in Dublin, Ohio, the coordinator, events and development role is key in crafting and executing dynamic event plans that supports the financial goals and strategic growth of the Foundation. Additionally, this role will assist the development team with donor stewardship and fulfillment needs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, partner with event vendors and implement fundraising best practices. Key Deliverables: Assist the director, events with the detailed execution of a comprehensive, multi-tiered fundraising and cultivation event plan in support of the Foundation's development goals, to include both Wendy's and non-Wendy's related events Develop and cultivate relationships with new and existing donors; represent the Foundation at events, meetings and networking opportunities, ensuring the utmost professionalism and enhancement of the Foundation's reputation Solicit in-kind donations from individuals, corporations and businesses to support the Foundation's programs and events Assist the department and development team with donor stewardship fulfillment (including donor related mailings, hand-written thank you notes, auction items and wristbands) What You Bring: Undergraduate degree preferred 1 + year of experience in event planning, event execution or donor relations Knowledge of fundraising strategies, including how events support a donor cultivation plan Highly organized, thorough, and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects with competing priorities Knowledge in generating and analyzing event metrics Our Benefits At the Foundation, our team is committed to providing unwavering dedication to change the journey for children lingering in foster care.
