Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a SAP GTS (Global Trade System) Consultant, who has good technical and functional knowledge in compliance management, customs management and preference management.

As our new colleague, you will be part of a well-functioning global team of committed and experienced IT consultants, and be a key player in our “One ERP” program, bringing those business requirements into a live system. You will also have a central role in making sure we are ready for the future of GTS, meaning developing future architecture and functionalities in SAP GTS environment.

Job Responsibilities

At this position you will:

  • Take part in projects or maintenance tasks to deliver qualified IT solution

  • Clarify and validate business requirements in global trade management area

  • Understand existing solution and give proposal on optimization

  • Analyse and design new IT solution, write RICEFW specification

  • Configure, build and test in SAP S4Hana and SAP GTS system in cooperation with our Build team

  • Specify interfaces between Global Trade system and surrounding systems

  • Document solution and developments.

Background & Skills

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, information technology, or another relevant background within IT

  • Proficient in SAP GTS functions, including compliance management, customs management, preference management, Intrastat. Experience with special customs procedure like free trade zone (FTZ), customs warehouse (CW), IPR is an advantage.

  • Around 5 years experiences in SAP global trade system (GTS V11 or E4H), hands on experience in design, configuration, and development

  • At least 3 projects’ experience with SAP GTS and SAP ERP (ECC or S/4 HANA), setup and implementation for international companies.

  • Good knowledge on SAP MM/SD/LE function is a plus.

  • Experience with SOLMAN and CHARM processes.

  • Fluency in English, both in writing and speech

  • Result oriented, motivated and self-starter, good team player.

  • Excellent in problem solving and analytical skills.
