As a Transportation Business Analyst within the EAME Aftermarket Transportation team, your role will be two-fold:

  • You will be heavily involved in developing analytics insights (levering the Microsoft Ecosystem) by combining business acumen with in-depth data understanding. You will also be the main link between business users and data engineers.

  • You will be the operational support for air freight shipments related to the Grimbergen Distribution Center.

The insights generated will be used by EAME Aftermarket Transportation Team and their business partners in their quest for answers to business related questions. These can be from an operational and/or financial nature, but always in one way or the other, linked to transportation flows.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive business improvement opportunities & cost saving opportunities leveraging both your technical expertise and business acumen by

  • Designing Power BI dashboards

  • Leveraging tools from the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Virtual Agents)

  • Translating business requirements into technical requirements for development by the Data Analytics team

  • Be the Single Point of Contact for air operations questions related to the Grimbergen DC

Required Qualifications:

  • Master level degree from a college or university, or equal qualification in experience.

  • Previous experience in a data analytics role

  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI & Power Platform, mainly Power Automate and Power Apps.

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication in English, and the ability to work with all levels within the organization

  • Have strong interpersonal skills and adopt a collaborative work style.

  • Have deep interest in technology, data analysis and supply chain.
