onsemi Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift in Gresham, Oregon

onsemi is seeking a Facilities maintenance mechanic, in our Gresham, OR site, you will report directly to the facilities manager and will be required to perform a variety of preventative and corrective maintenance activities to support the facility.

This opportunity is for a night shift position following a compressed work week schedule (12hr shifts), 7:00pm - 7:06am, with the expectation to be flexible and cover vacations/callouts on opposing shifts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Works on moderately complex assignments where judgmentis required to resolve problems and make recommendations.

  • Support the maintenance, operation, and repair of all systems, subsystems, and equipment within the onsemi campus.

  • Ensure all equipmentand associated subsystems are operational and maintained.

  • Evaluate the operation of all systems and associated subsystems, identifyspecific process improvementneeds and provide recommendations for system upgrades.

  • Perform Confined Space Entry on an as needed basis.

  • Perform troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.

  • Utilize CMMS software to document and report all maintenance activities and complete maintenance activities and documentation in a timelymanner.

  • Work near hazardous chemicals, high- and low-temperature liquids, gases, and machinery/equipment.

  • Provide diagnostics, repair, and modifications of industrial Equipment.

  • Work directly with Facilities Engineering on systeminstallations or modifications which may maximizeequipment efficiencies and or reliability.

  • Control room operations and responsibilities to monitor plant operations and react to complex issues that may arise.

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems including chilled and hot water, process cooling water, compressed air, exhaust systems, fire suppression systems, cleanroom, and non-cleanroom HVAC equipment.
