Modine Grenada LLC Utility A in Grenada, Mississippi

This is a Utility A position with a company in Grenada, MS.

Summary: Must have strong summary of knowledge in processes, prints and procedures which include basic hands-on proficiency in the following areas where needed: Fin Press/Sheet Metal and Tubing, as well as any other coil manufacturing disciplines and equipment. Assist less experienced operators in setting up and troubleshooting problems. Able to execute schedule requirements and promote safety in manufacturing procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities: Works hands on in assigned area using required equipment and materials.

 

 Assists in set-up and trouble shooting. Help coordinate schedule requirements and execute under supervisor's directions. Approves and monitors quality and safety requirements.

       Makes sure work area is left clean and organized. Ability to use equipment.

  This includes any equipment in area assigned, such as fin presses, expanders, cutoffs, benders, hand tools, and any related equipment such as cranes.

  Requires ability to make mathematic calculations, comprehend decimals and read blueprints. Must be able to correct tool wear and report issues.

  Must be able to make basic adjustments to equipment required to keep process in control.

Qualifications: High school education or equivalent is required. Must be able to read blue prints.

  Must have complete understanding of CCP paperwork used to manufacture coils.

   Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs. Hoists or helpers must be used in excess of that. Majority of position requires standing and walking, but bending and stooping are required. This job requires multi-tasking to keep things progressing. These positions require mental and visual alertness. This list is not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned as necessary.
