Machinist Level 3

As a Machinist Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations by operating and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You will work with a team of skilled professionals to ensure the efficient and accurate production of parts according to specifications. Your expertise in machining processes and equipment will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will impact the production process by operating and maintaining machines, ensuring the quality and accuracy of parts, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate various machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses to produce parts according to specifications

• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the quality and accuracy of parts

• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns

• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards

• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machinist, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various machining equipment

• Strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

WE VALUE

• Technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field

• Experience with CNC machining

• Knowledge of programming and operating CNC machines

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
