Charter Communications, Inc. in Greenwood Village, CO seeks Senior Software Developer to be responsible for providing strategic solutions to business problems unique to Charter's voice and webmail self-service platforms. Develop, modify, enhance, and implement software systems and applications designed to support new or existing voice and webmail self-service platforms. Develop backend application services with Java. Build and develop Java web applications utilizing Springboot. Deploy applications using Kubernetes in order to support seamless deployments and application scalability. Utilize Cassandra database management system as a database in order to store application data. Code and perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution while adhering to business and technical requirements. Provides application support for our production systems, including troubleshooting, analysis, and fixes. Troubleshoot pipelines for deployment to Kubernetes using CI/CD. Provide system analysis and improvement recommendations and identify and recommend system designs and requirements for software enhancements with senior team members. Translate user requirements into technical solutions. Implement, monitor, test and audit new software programs to maximize efficiency of software systems.

Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), Information Technology, or a related field. 4 years of experience: translating user requirements into technical solutions; developing backend application services with Java; utilizing Springboot to build and develop Java web applications; troubleshooting pipelines for deploying to Kubernetes using CI/CD. 3years of experience utilizing Cassandra database management system as a database in order to store application data. 2 years of experience using Kubernetes for application deployments in order to support seamless deployments and application scalability *A hybrid (office and remote) arrangement is available.

Salary depends on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $130,520/year.
