Charter Communications, Inc. in Greenwood Village, CO seeks Network Engineer II to Create standard documentation for the Access Operations organization. Serve as a liaison for Access Operations and other network operations verticals. Serve as an escalation path for the Access Operations and Support Desk. Troubleshoot, diagnose and re-mediate complex impairments. Proactively create technical solutions for unforeseen network issues. Evaluate current network designs and recommend improvements. Design and implement network enhancements in partnership with other verticals and vendors. Regularly work with Arris, Casa, Arista, Vecima, Nokia, and Cisco platforms to perform Engineering Field Trials (EFT), FOAs with warranty period support. Execute EFT during maintenance windows. Audit the Access Network to ensure configuration standards for compliance and work with other teams to ensure adherence. Utilize Routing Protocols including ISIS, RIP OSPF, and BGP. Work with packet cable, QoS, and DSCP to ensure minimum service levels. Perform DOCSIS provisioning to provision CPE devices. Work with DOCSIS including internet, voice, and video services over HFC.

Bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 2 years of experience: utilizing Routing Protocols including ISIS, RIP, OSPF, and BGP; with network design, network architecture, protocols, and network topology; utilizing packet cable, QoS, and DSCP to ensure minimum service levels; performing data networking utilizing OSI Model, TCP/IP, or Optical Transport; and with network devices including Cisco and Juniper routers. A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.

Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $89,398/year.
