Charter Communications, Inc. in Greenwood Village, CO seeks Lead Software Engineer to develop, modify, enhance, and implement software systems designed to support business initiatives. Work in all phases of projects and provide technical assistance and advice on existing software solutions. Code and perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution. Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Code, test, debug, and enhance new and existing software. Write programs according to specifications. Define specifications for complex programs. Participate in code review sessions to validate adherence with development standards. Develop technical documentation, and assist junior team members in technical documentation. Resolve escalated incidents and problems with software supported by the team. Provide management with system analysis, feedback, and improvement recommendations. Identify and recommend design and requirements needed for software enhancements. Maximize efficiency of various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing, and auditing new software programs. Participate in performance improvement sessions discussing opportunities to improve processes and standards. Utilize programming languages including Java or C# to build new features and maintain software applications. Support mobile application development framework including Xamarin; frameworks for building software applications including Microsoft .Net; and mobile framework including Android or iOS for Mobile service activation.

Requires Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. 5 years of experience: in programming languages which can include any combination of Java or C# to build new features and maintain software applications. 3 years of experience in: mobile application development framework including Xamarin; and frameworks for building software applications including Microsoft .Net. 2 years of experience in mobile framework including Android or iOS for Mobile service activation.

Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $152,069 per year.
