The Real Estate Department at Spectrum is a vital part of the organization's Corporate Services division. The Director of Real Estate holds a key position within the department's leadership team and oversees a team of skilled real estate professionals. Spectrum's real estate portfolio comprises approximately 25 million square feet and around 3,400 properties, which vary in size, complexity, and usage.

As the Director of Real Estate at Spectrum's Real Estate Department, your main responsibility is to lead a team of real estate managers assigned to specific geographic regions. You'll guide them in activities like site selection, property acquisitions and dispositions, leasing operations, and strategic portfolio management. Your focus is on securing high-quality deals, maintaining consistent processes, and aligning with the company's operational objectives.

Collaboration is crucial in your role. You'll work closely with Corporate Services, key business leaders, and legal counsel to establish and nurture strategic relationships. This ensures effective decision-making and alignment of real estate initiatives with broader corporate goals. Managing external relationships is another key aspect of your position. This involves working with third-party brokerage partners, attorneys, landlords, developers, and other relevant consultants. These partnerships play a vital role in supporting Spectrum's real estate operations and achieving successful outcomes.
