Charter Communications, Inc. in Greenwood Village, CO seeks Data Scientist to use statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to clean, aggregate, and analyze large data sets and interpret results. Participate in the execution of the complete analytics life-cycle for problem solving, including: requirements gathering, problem formulation, data grooming, data exploration, model prototyping, model validation, and algorithm productionalization. Leverage knowledge of analytical and statistical algorithms to help stakeholders explore business improvement methods. Design and implement statistical data quality procedures for existing and new data sources. Establish links across existing data sources and find new and relevant data correlations. Work with statistical and data modeling tools including programming in Python or R-based tooling to analyze information and create descriptive and predictive models. Work with Big Data Tooling for the purpose of working with large data sets and streams. Perform analytical and statistical modeling for data analytics. Support database access, manipulation and cleansing using tools such as SQL and Python. Present data insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics Engineering, or a related field. 2 years of experience in base data access, and manipulation using tools such as SQL or Python; working with Statistical and Data Modeling tools for the purpose of analyzing information; and with Big Data Tooling for the purpose of working with large datasets and streams.
