The hourly rate for this position is $15.11 per hour.

Eaton’s Electrical Sector-PSD is currently seeking an Assembly Technician I – Final Assembly to join our team. This position is based at our Greenwood, SC facility. Note: This is located at the Emerald Road facility.

The Assembly Technician I – Final Assembly must remain proficient in all jobs on this product line which could but is not limited to assembly, packaging, reading drawings and instructions, using computer, and 5S+ activities within the department. Must work closely with other team members, Job Setter, Group Leader and Supervisor to maintain work efficiency. Must be flexible in the performing various job functions.

• You will understand, read, and follow productions drawling as well as shop work orders which includes bills of material and shipping instructions.

• You will follow all department quality and safety procedures

• You will prep and package capacitors to ready for shipment with the use of multiple types of tools including but not limited to: Air tools, nail guns, pneumatic stapler, torque wrenches, tape measures, wire cutters, lifting devices, saws, computer, and drill/driver tools. Other tools may be needed to help complete the assembly and shipping process.

• You will operate all equipment in a safe manner as well as perform daily inspections on equipment
