Job Description:

The Machine Operator 2 is responsible for operating production equipment and meeting area production goals .

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate assigned equipment

  • Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required

  • Inspect and verify product according to quality standards

  • Work with Machine Technician to resolve problems with equipment

  • Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation

  • Able to work effectively within small teams

  • Accurately complete scrap tickets

  • Accurately complete daily production sheet

  • Accurately update hourly goal board

  • Maintain production pace and standards

  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area

  • Practice 5Ss

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions

  • Basic math skills

  • Basic mechanical skills

  • Basic computer skills

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2 years of machine operation experience
