Required Skills

Position Summary

The Craft Recruiter/Administrative Professional will lead the organization’s recruiting efforts for craft employees at projects nationwide. To this extent, the Craft Recruiter will drive internal and external candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing, and project mobilization. The Craft Recruiter will be a member of Operations department and will work closely with the Human Resources Manager. Additionally, this role will be responsible for handling additional office admin duties defined below.

Essential Craft Recruiter Functions Statement(s):

· Leads craft recruiting efforts by aligning with project supervision to identify, screen, and hire adequately skilled craft.

· Partners with project supervision to create job description, interview questionnaires, and other relevant interview materials for craft candidates.

· Provides support in identifying full-time field supervision and functional roles (QC, Safety, Administration, Scheduling).

· Develops pools of qualified craft candidates for short term and long-term projects.

· Sources and interviews candidates from multiple methods including but not limited to internal applicant system, call-in line, direct networking, social media, and employee referral.

· Plans and executes recruiting events and job fairs.

· Maintains organized records for craft employees.

· Travels to project sites to support mobilization, project onboarding, and local recruiting activities.

· Partners with other Human Resources team members to ensure company policies and procedures are followed.

Essential Administrative Professional Functions Statement(s):

· Answer Door when everyone is in meetings, sign for packages, etc.

· Document Control:

o Organizing and rebranding Policies & Procedures

o Updating and Distributing Policies & Procedures

o Create and maintain Library of Ts & Cs (Organized & filed appropriately)

o Create and maintain Library of Marketing Information to incorporate in our proposals

o Create and maintain list of Safety Topics

o Maintain list of weekly Safety Topics as presented in Weekly Staff meetings

· Estimating & PM

o Downloading, Verifying, and Updating Drawings & Specs

o Printing Drawings & Specs

o Preparing Items for inclusion into proposals

o Preparing Submittals

o Entering questions & answers into Bid Programs ie: Ariba, Zycus, Power Advocate, Client Specific, etc.

o Maintaining a Library of Safety Information for incorporation into proposals

· Keeping our master contact list up to date

· Maintaining adequate quantities of and ordering office supplies as needed

· Material & Tool Shipping & Receiving

· Other duties as required

Position Qualifications

· Demonstrated experience recruiting craft or skill trades personnel; preferably in heavy industrial market.

· Experience using a personnel tracking system.

· Able to build rapport with project supervision and management.

Education and Experience

· Preferred B.S. in Business Administration or related experience.

· 3-5 years of experience in recruiting of craft or skill trades personnel
