Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Controls Engineer, where you will engage in designing and building custom automation equipment for assembly, test, and material handling applications across a variety of industries such as energy, transportation, life science, electronics, and consumer goods. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for taking the lead on the design aspects of assigned projects under the guidance of the Director of Engineering. Your role includes preparing control systems designs, utilizing AutoCAD for drawings including power distribution, PLC, main and station panel layouts, console layouts, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation. You will review and manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with the Controls Assembly Department during build phases, debug software post power-up, and participate in installation phases of projects. Projects typically range in size from $100,000 to $2 million. Some travel may be required.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Greenville, South Carolina.

Work Environment

The workweek is M-F & 9-5.

40 hours is a normal workweek, anything over that is booked as overtime.

We integrate with leading suppliers of robotic solutions, motion control, and vision systems, undertaking projects ranging from simple stand-alone stations to complex integrated assembly and test systems.
