Lockheed Martin Aircraft Refueler Sr in Greenville, South Carolina

Description: You will be the Aircraft Refueler Sr for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Location. Our team is responsible for refueling, defueling military aircraft and GSE equipment.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Aircraft Refueler Sr you will be responsible for

Performing refuel and defuel activities on various types of aircraft per technical orders, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.

Ensure all required quality tests of fuel samples are performed per applicable standards and customer requirements.

Perform inspections of all fuel systems and equipment to ensure safe use during all fuel operations.

Service and fuel Ground Support Equipment as required.

Operate and maintain an 18-wheel aircraft fueling/defueling service truck.

Perform fueling operations while adhering to all required standards and specifications.

Other related duties as assigned.

Candidates must have:

- Ability to regularly use hands to grasp, handle and/or feel.

- Ability to frequently walk, stand, reach with arms/hands, and perform repetitive movements.

-Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

- Ability to sit, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and work overhead.

- Ability to see clearly including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years performing refueling and defueling activities on various types of aircraft.

- Experience maintaining accurate fueling records of all fuel movement.

- Experience completing accurate documentation on related forms and tickets.

- Candidate must be trained and have experience utilizing computers to complete logs and/or submit documents electronically

Desired Skills:

Ability to read and speak English.

- Ability to comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

- Ability to support Operations by performing refuel and defuel services on various types of aircraft and service Ground Support Equipment.

- High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
