Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Remarketing Specialist based at our Greenville, NC.

What you will do:

  • Manage the End of Lease process for assigned customers and / or dealers.

  • Effectively coordinate final lease inspections and negotiate with dealers / customers to gain agreement and collect end of lease repair and overtime charges due.

  • Manage the timely pickup of off lease and buy back units from customers and dealers.

  • Load remarketing system with pictures and condition reports to allow for efficient sale of returned units.

  • Prepare bid forms and other required account specific paperwork for the return process.

  • Work closely with the dealer network to ensure policies are being followed.

  • Review returns condition data and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Communicate any product issues or service-related issues to the Remarketing Manager.

What you will need:

The minimum experience and formal training for this position will be one of the following:

Level I:

  • BS Degree Preferred

  • 2 years’ work experience

  • 6 years industry experience without degree

Level II:

  • BS Degree Preferred

  • 3 years work experience with Bachelors

  • 7 years industry experience without degree

Skills, Experience & Abilities

  • Computer Literacy: Understanding of and capability to use Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook plus capability to use internal systems and software.

  • Proven ability to communicate and effectively negotiate with customer and dealers that results in win-win solutions to problems.

  • Product -application knowledge including technical product and understanding of equipment maintenance operations and requirements.

  • Familiarity with dealer service operations and processes.

  • Complete knowledge of leasing and internal policies and procedures for remarketing.
