COMPANY: Encompass Grain LOCATION: Greenview, IL _ Purpose and Summary_ Under the direction of the Network Operations Manager, this position is responsible for all elevator operations at the assigned facility(ies) including grain inventory/handling, grain quality, housekeeping, maintenance, and customer service. The Elevator Operations Location Manager supervises and directs all operations employees at the assigned facility(ies). _ Essential Job Duties_ Follow all company safety policies and procedures Oversee quality management by segregating inventory according to grade and moisture, proper aeration, routine temperature and grain quality checks Complete all housekeeping assignments to ensure a clean facility environment in compliance with company standards Coordinate grain receiving/shipping operations including properly managing traffic flow and space utilization while being responsive to customer needs Manage efficient operation of grain dryers meeting target moisture levels Perform basic repairs and follow preventative maintenance program on machinery and equipment _ Other Responsibilities_ Maintain a high level of customer service with a positive and respectful attitude Exhibit a professional image along with prompt attendance Participate as a member of a train crew including tasks such as opening/closing lids, attaching seals, operating locomotives and loading railcars Must be able to work extended hours, including weekends and seasonal harvest overtime _ Qualifications_ Normally requires 3 years or more of operations related work experience Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record _ Physical Demands_ Must be able to work in all weather conditions Frequently required to climb and work at varying heights, stand, walk, and lift 50+ pounds Working conditions may include, dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures in place We are an equal opportunity employer, including protected veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities.
